Emmy Newman
Emmy Newman is the great-niece of Oscar-winner Paul Newman and granddaughter of production manager Arthur Newman. She was born in the Bay Area, California. She was educated at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon where she studied both Psychology and Theater. While attending, she was awarded an academic scholarship for her work in the Theater Department, recognized for her performance as Queen Marguerite in Ionesco's "Exit the King," and received a vocal scholarship to study singing.
As a child, she loved singing, acting and dancing and participated in many school musicals and community theater. It wasn't until college that she decided she wanted to pursue acting as a career. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles to continue her family legacy in the film industry. She has been in commercials and several short films, including "Life is Horrible," (2016) which won Best Comedy at the United International Film Festival. She studies at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and is excited for what is to come.
