McKenzie Power (March 5, 1997) is a photographer and filmmaker hailing from Fredericton, New Brunswick. His journey into the world of filmmaking began in 2021, demonstrating his passion and dedication to the craft. However, McKenzie’s artistic pursuits are not limited to filmmaking; he also has a keen interest in concert photography, a field in which he took a brief hiatus to focus on. In 2023, McKenzie made his debut in the film industry with the short film “The Loop”. This film, which features Fredericton actor Ted Parrott, showcases McKenzie’s ability to tell compelling stories through the medium of film. His work is influenced by renowned filmmakers such as Elaine May, Rian Johnson, John Carpenter, and Martin Scorsese.
