John Cleese is hilarisch als afstammeling van Sherlock Holmes in dit moderne detectivedrama vol internationale machtspolitiek en intriges. In tegenstelling tot zijn illustere grootvader slaagt hij er echter alleen in om elke klus die hij organiseert te verprutsen. Verder spelen Arthur Lowe de rol van de 'bionische' kleinzoon van Dr. Watson, Stratford Johns als de commissaris van politie en Connie Booth als mevrouw Hudson.
